Internal line — Notify safeguarding lead / on-call per your policy. 5. Local authority — Referral threshold met? If unsure, seek advice from your safeguarding adults/children lead. 6. Chronology — Start a dated chronology; avoid duplicate conflicting accounts. 7. Staff welfare — Support for the notifier and any staff involved. 8.
